Tom Monaghan is a Canadian PGA Class A Golf Professional.

Originating from Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Tom studied at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree (German Literature). In 1997, he completed his Professional Golf Management diploma at San Diego Golf Academy's Orlando, Florida campus. He returned to Canada to pursue his golf career on the West Coast.

His employment history includes the Vancouver Golf Club, Richmond Country Club, Capilano Golf and Country Club and currently he holds the position of Head Professional and Director of Instruction at Musqueam Golf and Learning Academy in Vancouver.

Tom's teaching experience encompasses beginners to scratch players, children to adults. He possesses Levels 1-4 in the Canadian PGA's Teaching and Coaching Certification Program.

In 2004 Tom completed his CPGA Class A accreditation and in doing so, achieved the highest exam mark in Canada. Tom was awarded the Tex Noble Award by the CPGA for this achievement.  Tom plays in competitive tournaments throughout British Columbia.  He is also a Certified PING club-fitter. Tom also enjoys hiking, running, travelling and sushi.
