Vancouver Born LPGA Tour Player Leah John Partners with Monaghan Golf Group

The Vancouver-based rising star will serve as an ambassador for Monaghan Golf Group as she begins her rookie season on the LPGA Tour wearing the Monaghan Golf Group logo on her right sleeve as she competes across the globe in 2026.

John, who grew up in the Vancouver golf community, has quickly become one of Canada’s most exciting young talents. Her connection to the region and her commitment to growing the game align perfectly with Monaghan Golf Group’s ambitions to support women in golf and to increase participation in the sport overall.

Monaghan Golf Group Awarded Operations Contract for City of Vancouver Municipal 18-Hole Golf Courses

Vancouver, BC (January 28, 2025) – Monaghan Golf Group, a Vancouver-based golf operations company, has been awarded the City of Vancouver contract to operate its three award-winning 18-hole municipal golf courses.

Fraserview Golf Course, McCleery Golf Course and Langara Golf Course are among the busiest municipal courses in Canada. Monaghan Golf has operated Fraserview Golf Course since 2009 and Langara Golf Course since 2013. This is the first time all three municipal courses will be operated by a sole vendor.

With the addition of McCleery, Monaghan Golf will be able to ensure that golfers have a seamless experience across all three municipal courses. From golf carts to ball dispensers, and golf lesson programming to customer service, golfers can now look forward to a more consistent experience at each of the City of Vancouver’s championship courses.
